Hi I used to clean my pc using a can of compressed air, nowdays I use an electric air blower, they look similar to these
http://www.solousa.com/store/flypage/air_blowers/440_air_blower.htmlhttp://www.bikudo.com/buy/details/140708/sell_portable_blower.htmlI have been using it for couple of months, Its more powerful and economical and blow off dust much better than compressed air and doesn't leave behind any traces of condensation. However recently I learned that vacuum cleaners aren't recommended as they can sometimes discharge static electricity that can damage circuit boards
I was wondering if that is the same for air blowers, I believe they are different, unlike vacuum cleaners they blow strong current of air from a distance not suck from a close one, plus i would always position the nozzle at a suitable distance to avoid mechanical damage to the fans (like those of the PSU, CPU, graphic card...etc) so static discharge from that distance shouldn't reach the electric component should it occur. Still to play things safe can expert in electronic advise if static discharge risk applies to air blowers as well, hence should stop using them and revert to compressed air instead?
Thanks in advance
