Browse All TopicsI have an Optiplex running XP hooked up to an Agfa Arcus Plus which is a SCSI scanner. I had previously had an Agfa SnapScan working on this system.
My issue began when I was moved to an iMac at work. I was told I needed to get my data files under 20GB to use Transporter, I did get under 20 GB the correct way by uninstalling all my big programs. Transporter failed and because I thought my PC would be taken away from me and rebuilt I removed several smaller programs by simply deleting their folders under program files including Agfa's FotoLook software.
When it became apparent IT was never coming to get my PC I reinstalled FotoLook and hooked up the SnapScan.
The FotoLook dialog error is "There's a problem loading (ENGLISH.MSG). It's not in the C:\WINDOWS\TWAIN_32|LOOK2_
There is no file called english.msg on the FotoLook installer. I am not the only person to get an error like this associated with FotoLook but I have seen no solutions.
I would really like to troubleshoot this as the Arcus Plus is legal size, good optics and has a transparency hood.
