Asked by briancassin in Miscellaneous Hardware, Hard Drives & Storage, Windows Server 2008
Hi everyone,
I currently have two HP DL385 G3 servers, they both have regular CD-Rom drives. I want to be able to use these servers to test Windows Server 2008 R2 the problem is I need to install Windows Server 20008 R2 from DVD media. Does anyone know where I can get replacement DVD-Rom Drives to replace the CD-Rom drives in these servers with DVD-Rom drives. I do not believe when these were made DVD-Drives were an option.
I am looking for a cheap solution. Also would laptop internal DVD drives work as they are about the same size ?
