Either need to get a card that is supported under Linux ,or we can try to see if the cards manufacturer(which is seen on the chip) has Linux driver.

Browse All TopicsHello I am running Ubuntu Jaunty. learning as I go along. the AVERMEDIA M791-B NTSC/ATSC TV TUNER CARD, M791-B is not being detected and its bugging me. Any idea how I can get this working? I usually watch my CNN on my TV :-) I can do without the TV but its just bugging me that I cannot get thgis working. I check around but cannot seem to get the linux drivers for this card

It seems there is no Linux driver for it.
If you can open the computer box and physically look at the cards chip look for another reference or manufacturer like Conexant etc and let us know.
