Upgrade Bios

Hi

I've a Toshiba model Qosmio G20-102 and the big problem with it is that it doesn't support Booting from USB. How to to update the bios to newer version that support this function?

Please help me!

In newer laptops , a direct bios update from OS is possible, are you sure its not the case with the model ?

I checked with CPU-Z and the detailed was:
Toshiba version 1.30 on 22/06/2005
I did not find a solution!

Un fortunately your system does not support booting from a usb hd device, only the option for a usb fdd (floppy disk drive) is available.
The particular bios updates for you system are installed via your os
you do not need to access the bios to update it its done from windows
go to the following link for your bios update and details how to install which are available manual downloads

Bios form Toshoba version 1.30 on 22/6/2005
At First, Where can I find an upgrade?
Toshiba has nothing!.

if it does not support booting from usb - that's it !
no update will help .

No notes to say if it adds boot from USB device.  Extract the zip file, run the EXE from inside Windows.

sorry about the delay, just checked the link and its ok again now looks like the site had an upgrade, just follow the directions from arixsin above and it should update with no problems
