Gateway MA7 (model MX6215b) wont boot even from CD

As the title says I can't get this machine to boot up at all. It gives me the option to go in to the BIos of boot menu but when it tries to load the OS I get a blank screen

Even when I try to boot from a CD I still get a blank screen.

Any ideas.
