Use 56k Voice Modem to make phone calls

Hi,

I would like to know how to set up a 56k voice/speakerphone modem in a way that will allow me to use my current landliine, some software, and a headset through my computer to make phone calls.

I currently have a Creative Modem Blaster model no. DI5631, hooked up to a landline, and a headset plugged into the audio ports of the modem.  And have attempted to use a program called Phone Dialer Pro to make calls, but no joy.  When I dial my number, or call another, the program will make and receive the calls, but I am unable to hear or be heard when I speak when the line is picked up. Could someone please help me get this working?
