What are the pros and cons of connecting a 3COM NBX 100 running ip on the fly with a commercial voip service running SIP?

I'm planning to change my 3COM NBX 100 line connection from voice T1 to one of VOIP service provider. I'm thinking that the proprietary voip protocol of 3com would mix with probably SIP. Has anybody than this before? How's the performance? Is there any late latency issues? Thanks.Start Free Trial
