Only my wireless connection works -- and it periodically knocks me off -- very annoying. I decided to go back to the old fashioned "hard wired" connection. It doesn't work. (it used to??)
I opened up my connections -- besides the wireless connection I have "1394 Connection 2" It shows as connected and working properly.
When I try to repair the connection I get the following message:
"Windows could not finish repairing the problem because the following action cannot be completed: TCP/IP is not enabled for this connection. Cannot proceed."
Some research (on this site and others) leads me to believe that this is not really even a connection -- but in device manager it is the only one listed other than the wireless.
I think (though I'm open to anything), that I need to find the driver for whatever network card I have --
Any help is greatly appreciated
Thanks,
Wayne
