Crimping from a router to a wall jack

Good day Experts,

I'm at wits' end with this project. We're setting up wall jacks in the house, and I can't for the life of me seem to get it done right.

We want to connect a 4-port SMC BarricadeG wireless router to 4 wall jacks in different rooms.

I've followed the wiring guide on the faceplate of the wall jack, being:

W/BL - BL - W/O - O - W/G - G - WBr - Br

My problem is this:

If I crimp the other end (which will connect into the router) as a 568A connection, I get no transmission from the wall jack to the PC that I'm using to test.

If I crimp the router end following the guide as I typed above, I get Limited or No Connectivity.

What is the correct way of crimping the router end so that I have TX/RX from the wall jack to the computer?

The cable being used through the walls is UTP Solid ISO/IEC 11801 Cat 5e cable.Start Free Trial
