Today I was planning to buy a fiber optic cable and I came across two choices. The sales rep gave me two prices one for the fiber optic cable made from zip cord and second one made from mic cable. I do not know the difference between the two and which one should I pick.
I am in need of a fiber cable ST/LC 62.5 multimode duplex fiber patch cord 45 meters in length. Fiber patch cord made out of zip cord is lot cheaper than one made from Mic cable. Please help me so that I can make informed decision.
FYI: I searched on the net but was not able to find information on the difference between the two.
