I recently purchased a TZ170 Wireless which is replacing a Linksys Cable/DSL Router at a client site. The way the Linksys was setup was that the wireless interface was on the same subnet as the LAN so all network services worked for the wireless client just as if it was a LAN client.
I need the same type of configuration for the TZ170 Wireless but from what I done so far, I can't get it to connect either on the same subnet or connect to the services I defined in the firewall rules.
I need the WLAN to be able:
- Print via TCP/IP to the server on the LAN side
- Connect to our Exchange server on the LAN side
- Access Windows 2003 network shares on the LAN side
- Obtain an adddress via DHCP
If anyone can point me in the right direction of how the firewall needs to be configured to make this happen, that would be greatly appreciated.

I think that on the Sonicwall TZ170, you have to establish a VPN connection between the WLAN and the LAN, otherwise it won't route traffic between the two. So, I think that your wirelss users would have to connect with their VPN client. I'm not sure, though. I know that's the case for the TZW SOHO.
