The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. Setup Shorewall for three interfaces

I have a Debian box setup for routing and security.  Shorewall does the routing and firewall settings.  I have setup a box successfully for two interfaces, however now I need three.  Eth4 with be the internet, eth1 is local, and eth3 is going to a third party for an online EMR system.  I have setup Shorewall as the example documents told me that are included in my with my setup.  I am able to get to the internet from the main server with no problems.  My issue is with the setup for eth3 going to the EMR system.  From my Linux box I am able to ping the lan interface on their router locally however my server is unable to.  I get a reply from my eth3 side stating a timeout.Start Free Trial
