Cisco Pix 515e IPSec issue

My Cisco Pix 515e has been working fine for years, and it is set up in a failover scenario.  No changes were made but the IPsec connection to my branch office no longer works, and my users are unable to establish vpn connections into the office.  Another strange issue is that logging in via SSH to check the config is no longer working either.  I am able to telnet into without issue. Otherwise internet traffic is working fine.  This has me stumped anyone run into this.  I forced a failover trying to see if it was a hardware issue and the behavior is the same.
