websense standalone doesn't return back the blocking page .

websense standalone doesn't return back the blocking page. as I have two NICs on the same server , one for internet usage to download the database and the other conected to the sniffing port on the switch . I have to configure a gateway on the Internt NIC to download the database and also when I configure a gateway on the internal ( sniffing ) NIC I got ip address duplicated
and when I didn't configure the gateway on the internal (sniffing) NIC the blocking page didn't returned back to the clients
how can I solve this issue ? and what is the proper way to configure a standalone websense server .

    What IP have you assigned to the 2 interfaces? Is this on windows or linux?

    All communication with the Websense server should be performed by the NIC with an Internet gateway. The monitoring NIC should only be used to listen to network traffic via the switch monitoring port.

    The IP address of the monitoring NIC should not be in the same range as the local LAN and does not need a gateway or any routing. Choose another private address in an unused range.

    Under the Network Agent settings in Websense you should specify the monitoring NIC as the one to monitor. The other NIC should not be enabled for monitoring.
