Barracuda 300 will not reset

we are trying to reset our barracuda to the default settings. I pressed down the reset button the front for 5 seconds, then tried for like 10 seconds then for a minute. it eventually resets and reboots. but still comes back up with the same IP settings. we need to restore it to the factory settings and it just doesn't seem to want to do this. any ideas?
