You can also install the cable modem directly to one of the PCs using USB, and share the Internet connection over the network from that PC. I would recommend you do this only until you get around to buying a router. It really is a better solution, especially if you don't want to leave one computer running so the other can access the Internet. You need to get a router, something like a Linksys BEFSR41 or if you want wireless a Linksys WRT54G or WRT300N. You then connect your cable modem to this router, connect the HUB to the router, and then all your other devices to the HUB.
