Modem shows its connected to ISP but can't access any internet page

I've a brand new netgear dg834g v4 modem that I'm trying to set up for a friend. I'm pretty much at my wits end with it! I am connected to the ISP, the modem has an IP etc and everything looks good. However, when I go to any page, it times out.

Everything looks ok but is there something I'm missing?

I have a DG834G v2 in my house and that works fine so I know it aint a line problem.
