Modem "listens" and picks up outgoing faxes from other machines

This modem answers outgoing faxes that are sent from another machine on the same phone line. We have our SBS2003 server, with the external modem, set to answer all fax calls but why does it answer outgoing fax calls and how can we stop it?Start Free Trial
