Combining high speed internet access on mobile and pc

I am looking for a way to combine high speed internet access on a mobile device and on my pc. Currently I have dialup on my pc and would like to upgrade it to a high speed connection. At the same time, I am looking to buy an internet device such as the nokia n810. I do have a verizon phone with bluetooth so I guess one option could be edge or something similiar.
