How setup a sub-network for our employees working on a client's site?

Four of our employees will be working on a client site for a few month. They will take our company's laptops and do not use client's computers. They will share files and a printer amongst their own laptops.
They will be provided an internet connection via the client's router or hub. I believe it would be prudent to implement a way of protecting our ‘sub-network’.

How can we implement this?
