What does NonUnicasts (frames/sec) mean on a network?  Need a human understandable translation please.

Hi Folks -

I'm trying to learn my way around in the networking world, and came across this statistic in a daily generated report:

NonUnicasts (frames/sec) In: .04

I looked up what a "NonUnicast" is, and apparently it means "a broadcast or multicast frame".  A broadcast is "a frame sent from one node to the entire network using the broadcast address" and a multicast is "a frame sent from one node to a group of nodes on the network. In switched networks, routers often forward any multicast messages they receive, which could result in greater volume on the network and possible degradation of service due to higher traffic volume."

Nice to build knowledge on, but what I'm really interested in knowing is if .04 is good, or bad, or meaningless for a NonUnicats (frame/sec) value.

Can anyone explain this in plain English or at least what it is in other words?  I attached a JPEG file to show the chart I'm looking at, if it helps.
