ISDN:Connecting Zyxel TA with V.35 Interface on a Cisco Router
Hello All,
We have an situation.
We are having a cisco 2514 Router. We
have connected a Zyxel Omni TA 128 ISDN Terminal Adapter with one of the v.35 Serial Port using a interface converter cable. Now our question is how to configure my serial interface to dial and connect to the remote place.
Is there any Special Cable Required?. or
How the dialing can be configured. Either DTR dialing or V.25bis Dialing.?
Will it Support FrameRelay encapsulation.
Let me tell my scenario also.
My Remote end is again a TA configured to receive the calls from either a router or FRAD.Right now I am using Cisco IOS ver 11. But
Higher version can also be prefered

Ans: You are already using Interface converter so you do not require any special cable.
How the dialing can be configured. Either DTR dialing or V.25bis Dialing.?
Ans: For DTR Dialing, Following is setting has to be done in Calling end TA:
ATB11&M3&z0=<remote no.>*d0&d1&wz
At answering end TA:
ATB11&M3s0=1&wz
For V.25 bis dialing:-
At calling end TA:
ATB11&m3*i1&wz
At answering end TA:
ATB11&M3*i1s0=1&wz
Will it Support FrameRelay encapsulation.
