Linksys Router/Gaming issue

I play this game age of empires II, its about 5 years old. When I'm at my friends house and we are using the same router to connect to other people it wont let us both play. We can connect to eachother and play. Basically it wont let more then 1 person on the same router play the game online. We can all be in the lobby but when we try to play it wont connect until one of us leave. any ideas how to fix this? thanks

it's a limitation within Age of Empires 2.  There is no fix for this.

A more detailed explanation:

The reason why you cannot connect is because you are being firewalled.  If you were not behind that firewall, and each of you had your own seperate public IP addresses, then you'd be all set to go, but because you have to masquerade as one IP, only one of you can have that port open at a time... and that's why it doesn't work.
