The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. When you provide your feedback, each rating is adjusted accordingly. So, if you see a solution that has a poor rating that you think is a good solution, let us know by rating it. As you do, the rating will be adjusted and will become more accurate for other members of our site.

If you have any suggestions that you would like to make for our rating system, please ask a question in the Suggestions Zone of Community Support.

Thank you!

Eigrp Routing

Tags: eigrp, routing
Just wondering if this is possible. Want to check if I can use the same IP subnet for both routers using eigrp.

Lets say I have 2 point to point T1s going to 2 locations

7206 router

|          |
|          |

1720      1720
(Loc 1)   (Loc 2)

Lets take into account that I am using private IP for Serial interface and Public IP for Ethernet Interface.

Private IP 10.1.1.0 /30 , 10.1.1.4 /30
Public IP 100.100.100.96 /29

If I use EIGRP on all three routers here , will I be able to put the same public IP /29 on the ethernet interfaces for both the 1720 routers.

7206 serial IP for T1 # 1 - 10.1.1.1
1720 #1  Serial IP  - 10.1.1.2
1720 #1  Ethernet IP - 100.100.100.97

7206 serial IP for T1 # 2 - 10.1.1.5
1720 #2  Serial IP  - 10.1.1.6
1720 #2  Ethernet IP - 100.100.100.98

Eigrp on 7206 and 1720 as

network 10.1.1.0 0.0.0.3
network 10.1.1.4 0.0.0.3
network 100.100.100.96 0.0.0.7
