Output Counters on a Catalyst 3750

I have 2 Catalyst 3750 24 port switches, linked together as master/slave.  I have ports 1 and 3 configured on the same VLAN hooked to two RHEL 4 machines, both of which are using 8021q bonding, using MII for the bonding.  I have the MIIMON set to 0.  My question is, even after I do a clear counters on the switch, the output counters for both ports start going up again immediately, and I don't understand why.  I need these to only increase when I send data across the VLANs for testing purposes.  Does anyone have an idea as to why this happens?  Or even better how to stop it from happening?  Thanks alot!Start Free Trial
