establish trust relation between cisco equipment and linux machine

is the a way ican establish trust between the network equipment and
my administration workstation so i can run a command like :
ssh username@ciscodevice sh cdp nei
without the need to enter password ?
i have both iOS and catOS on my network so both solutions will be good

You can enable rsh commands, this will allow you to execute remote IOS commands without logging in:

ip rcmd rsh-enable
ip rcmd remote-host remote-host 10.1.1.1 remote-host enable

Yes, Get a Putty client and you can batch the scripts.

sorry but im using linux. i need a command in order to use in a script.
i dont want to write the password in clear text therefor i must have trust between
the linux machine and the switch or router im checking.

You could use expect scripting that uses ssh,

Expect scripts are the best bet then for you. They will do the job perfectly.

i understand that i have to write the password in clear text inside the script.
i cant do that. when creating trust between workstations all you have to do
is swap key between them. is there a similar mechanism with cisco ?
