Cisco Catalyst 2950 failover

Is it possible to put a two Cisco Catalyst 2950's (or 2960's) into a failover configuration?  I am trying to eliminate all single points of failure in one of my network environments and am not finding much information on switch failover models.  I know it wouldn't be very diffucult to save the config file (in advance) and just physically replace the switch in the case of a failure but if possilble I would like this type of failover to take place automatically.
