Unable to access internet from new subnet through Check Point firewall.

I have Check Point firewall on the edge of my network that connects me to the internet.  It is on a Windows 2003 server and the version of Check Point is R55 so it is older.  My issue is that I have recently added a 6th subnet on my network and this subnet cannot access the internet.
Currently I have a subnet 192.168.1.48 that is my main subnet.  I have two domain controllers and most of my PC's on this subnet.  I have 4 (192.168.1.50, .52, .54, .56) other subnets connecting to this subnet through a Cisco 2600 router.  All of these subnets can authenticate to the main subnet as well as use the phone system which is IP based and can access the internet.
The new subnet (192.168.1.58) can authenticate to the main subnet as well as use the phone system but it cannot access the internet.  I have set up the rules in checkpoint for this subnet the same as the rules on the other subnets.  I have also added static routs to the Check Point firewall exactly like the other subnets have.  After doing this I am still unable to access the internet from this 6th subnet.  I am also unable to ping the firewall from the new subnet but I can ping it from the rest.
Please let me know what I am doing wrong.  If you need any more information please let me know.  Thank you in advance for your help.
