Mini: workgroup is mshome IP : 102.168.0.2 (wired)
How to connect them using netgear router. They can both ping to 192.168.0.1 which is gateway but can not ping each other.

Do they both get internet?
Have you disabled the firewall? Whether it's windows firewall or some other firewall program, disable it. Try again. Also share a folder on both systems with full permissions to all users. If you need help doing this just ask and tell us what version of windows you are running.
Also, we need your router model number to help efficiently. It should be on the bottom of the router.
sabioit: sometimes RTFM is the easiest way to resolve an issue. You'd be surprised how many simple problems you can fix by telling someone to read it. It's kind of like...did you check that your computer cables are all plugged in?

Check the router's manual, there may be a setting called something like "Privat Sphere". If that is active you can't share PC shares.
