Access to network resources is very slow over a VPN created between a Linksys RV082 and a Linksys RV042. I have replaced each router with a new one, each running the latest two versions of the firmware and the speed did not increase. The speed of the ISP on each end is high, 5MB down and 2 MB up. I use the same setup for other clients using the same hardware and settings and see much better speeds. The VPN configuration is below. My question is what other factors can cause this connection to be slow? Something on the server? Just browsing through folders over the VPN is painfully slow, and copying a 200K PDF to the local machine takes over 2 minutes. No applications on the local machines across the VPN are running off the server, only Outlook syncing with Exchange.
