We're using BT Business Broadband ADSL as our internet provider and have purchased a 255.255.255.248 range of static IPs from them.
As this broadband was a replacement for an existing supplier, we are using our original DrayTek 2600 router and are unable to change to the BT supplied router as it doesn't provide VPN capability.
The problem is that when the DrayTek connects it is being provided a dynamic IP address rather than the router address within our static range.
The static IPs are set in the WAN Alias IP configuration section and a fixed IP address is being requested, but denied during the IPCP handshake.
Can anyone help with the correct configuration to ensure that the router WAN IP is always one of our static range rather than a dynamic one?
