Please can you advise as how i configure these to work as a bridge or better now as a repeater. i have no idea about this. Many Thanks for you help. Please note a found WDS bridge option on the Buffalo but was unable to find this option on the Linksys, possibly the Linksys cant be used as an ADSL router whilst Bridge fuction is enable. if so the Buafflo will be used a the ADSL route.r

I'm not sure the WAG54GS is able to act as a repeater. I believe in Bridge mode it only talks wirelessly to the other bridge and then both talk to other devices only through their ethernet ports. And it doesn't support WDS, so it can't talk to the Buffalo in WDS mode. The options using 2 of that model appear to be:
A) Use WAG54GS #1 as the modem, with the wireless section set to bridge mode, WAG54GS #2 also in bridge mode, wired to the Buffalo which would act as the wireless access point. That would provide wireless access at the remote point, but not at the modem location.
B) Buffalo as modem and wireless AP, wired to WAG54GS #1, which is bridged to WAG54GS #2, which would need to be wired to a 4th device such as a WAP54G to provide wireless access at the remote location. Without the 4th device WAG54GS #2 would provide only wired access at the remote location.
Either of those would give full speed (802.11g, or 54mbps) connections between the remote location and whatever's connected to the modem (wired in option A, or wireless and wired in option B).
For what this info's worth, if you use just 2 APs in repeater mode it cuts the wireless bandwidth in half to/from the remote location because it has to use half for the wireless access and half to relay the signal to the modem/wireless location. Using 3 repeater hops effectively cuts bandwith by 3/4ths (i.e. to about 13.5mbps on 802.11g).
What other wireless modes does the Buffalo offer besides WDS?
"Secure WiFi using WEP" is somewhat of an oxymoron, btw.
