Hi,
late last night a vital router lost its configuration. I have been trying to learn cisco in a well short space of time but its just not that simple. The router boots up in rommon only and does not appear to have an IOS on it. I am a real novice with cisco and this is the first time I have had to work with one, but the learning curve is just too steep and the problem needs resolving now.
I just need to be able to get the internet working in my workplace again, and the router that holds all this detail is the one that lost its config.
I would appreciate it if nyone could find the time to look into this problem for me, i need to be talked through it from loading the IOS, setting the configuration, and basically need helping through the whole process.
Also Iwill need to know where to download an IOS for a cisco 1841 router - so if anyone already has this and could email it to me that would be a real benefit.
