Dropping packets between cisco 1800 router and unix computer

I have a cisco 1800 router that is attached through a pt to pt t1 line to a adtran 4305. When I ping my applications server which is a aix box from IBM, I am only connecting at 40% from this one site, and not able to run my applicaiton.

I have three additional sites that have adtran routers and have no loss of packets.
I do not loose packet going from the aix computer to the router only from the router to the aix computer.
