Unable to Port Forward or create VPN tunnel through a bt voyager 2091 router

Hi All,

I'm wondering if someone could help me with a BT Voyager 2091 router, any advice would be appreciated before I sling it out of the window !

I am trying to create a vpn between 2 Watchguard Firebox Edges.  I have proven that the Firebox vpn configurations are correct and the tunnells can be created, however when I connect one to the customers voyager 2091 router, I can not establish the vpn.

I have made the following changes on the routers virtual server configuration page :-
1/ set the firebox in the DMZ
2/ enabled the VPN ALG pass through
3/ upgraded the firmware to the current 3.01q

and yet I still cannot establish the vpn.

I then tried to setup port forwarding to enable remote desktop and vnc support and even this fails - I've forwarded 3389 for RDP and 5900 for VNC to the LAN IP of the clients pc, and when attempting to RDP or VNC from the WAN side of the router, the connections are refused.

This is all pointing to a router problem rather than a configuration or firewall issue and I'm wondering if anyone else has come across a similar problem with the voyager 2091 before I suggest replacing the router ?

Any help would be greatfully appreciated
