Cisco Router 1601R stop working.

Hello,
I have called AT&T and they tested the D Mark and its OK. My Cisco 1601R stop working, no changes were made prior to it. It still power up. No internet. Can't ping IP. Second question, is it possible to copy the setting/configuration from Cisco 1601R to Cisco 1720? or  can I move the WIC card from 1601R to 1720 router? Do they have the same hardware inside?
