I have a linksys wrt54g and wrt300n. since my room gets a very low signal from my wrt300n, the connection becomes intermittent and it can be a pain if i'm trying to download something from the internet, so what I want to do is to connect wrt54g to wrt300n and then place the wrt54g somewhere near my room to be able to get a much stronger signal. How do I go about this?

yep,
so the idea is to make the wrt54g a access point for the main wrt300n router. the wrt54g will not be a router anymore, more like a repeater to strengthen the signal for the wrt300n.

Hi there,
is one of the routers currently used right now as your internet gateway?
if so what you need to do it make the other one an access point, not a router
