vwic-2mft-e1 card shows up as T1

I have a cisco vwic-2mft-e1 in my cisco 3725 and when i run the command "show diag" it comes up with

i was told i can use the command "card type" to change what type the card is, however i can not find how to use it. if you could explain why i cant use this command i would be most grateful.

This looks like you have a different module than the 2MFT-E1
Please verify the module part number on the front of the module itself

you should have card type command available.
Try:
Router#conf t
Router(config)#card ?
Router(config)#card type e1 2  <== "2" is slot number

Thanks for the feedback lrmoore. The part number on the face says vwic-2mft-e1. We ran the serial number on Cisco's site and it said it was that part number. The option to change "card type" does not exist either. I'm thinking we have a counterfeit card. Any tips or tricks on how to determine this?

card type only works if the module is VWIC-2MFTT1/E1 where it can be either T1 or E1.
Yours "should" show up as controller e1 x/0 and x/1
You might need to upgrade the IOS to get the right drivers
Use this matrix to make sure you have the correct NM to work with the VWIC

I think you need a NM-HD-2VE module to put the VWIC in and not the base WIC slots on the 3725
