  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. Cisco interface FE /0/ can't ping the WAN interface on the sonicwall

We have an Internet T1 that is connected by s/0/0/0 to the ISP.  We have our WAN port on our Sonicwall Pro 2040 on the same LAN connected via cross-connect cable to the FE 0/0 on the router.

The sonicwall can ping all of the interfaces on the router.  Hosts on the LAN can ping all the interfaces as well.  From the Cisco side we can't ping the WAN interface nor any of the addresses on the LAN.  

Am I missing a route of the Cisco?  Users will need internet access but it's not working.

The WAN interface IP on the Sonicwall is 192.168.99.2/255.255.255.0.  The LAN IP is 10.0.0.201/255.255.255.0.
