Here is a tutorial showing how to simulate a pix.

I don't know exactly if it works the same with asa. You can give it a try!

You can only run ASA v7 images on PEMU.  To use an ASA 7 image with GNS3, you have to unpack it with Cisco image unpacker (here: http://www.gns3.net/content/cisco-image-unpacker)

ASA7 binary image successfully unpacked in asa724-k8.bin.unpacked

Then you can use asa724-k8.bin.unpacked in GNS3 as a PIX image.
Go to the GNS3 preference, then the PEMU menu.  Choose the unpacked image.
