I have a d-link (SOHO) wireless router in the rear of an ambulance that connects through to the Internet via a sierra pinpoint xl modem. I have a wireless device that communicates to the router through subnet address 192.168.1.100 (under WEP) I then need to reverse pf 192.168.1.100 to an IP address of xxx.yyy.zzz.bb:pppp in the outside world. I was contemplating using DD-WRT as the firmware on the Router, but not sure if DD-WRT will support the reverse PF function. In reading some of the support lit on DD-WRT, it appears as the PPTP may work to solve this problem, but haven't had the epiphany yet. Can someone help me get over the edge on this.
