Its just a Windows IPSec VPN.
I have Endpoint Independant enabled for both UDP and TCP. I still get disconnected.
I also have the latest firmware.
Any other ideas?

Browse All TopicsI just got a D-Link DIR-655 Extreme WiFi Router and replaced my old netgear with it. My connection to the internet is stable and does not drop, but my work VPN connection will authenticate, connect, and register my computer on the network. For a random interval of time I have full connectivity and my Outlook connects to the Exchange server without issue. But then randomly the VPN connection will drop and attempt to reconnect.
I have enabled VPN passthroughs, as well as port forwarding for 1723, and GRE #47. The connection still drops.
Any ideas how I can fix this so I don't drop?

IPSec/UDP VPN, like Cisco?
Set NAT Endpoint Filtering to Endpoint Independant for both UDP and TCP/ip.
Also, if you haven't already done so, get the latest firmware.
I have a DIR-635, the older version of yours, and it was giving me fits w/ VPN until I updated firmware, no problems since.
