Or check the config register. Do a "show version" look at the last line. Must be set on 0x2102
Check also NVRAM with the command: dir nvram: [enter] , please send the output of this.

Browse All TopicsI really need help with this one. I came into work and no one could get on the internet. I plugged into the router and it was in ROMMON mode. I checked the CF card, replaced it, reloaded the IOS and it's still doing the same thing. Could someone direct me to a solution plz?

THANKS! I did what you said "check the config register. Do a "show version" look at the last line. Must be set on 0x2102" and it wasn't set to 0x2102, it was set to 0x2142, I made the change, cycled the router and BAM, back in business... I wonder what would've made it just go to that state after working for I don't know how long...

Seems to me that that router did not have it's config saved. If you've got a copy of the config you could paste it in.
