No sub menu...I think there must be another username and password in effect for that area.

How to change password for Netopia R9100 router
I have a netopia R9100 Router...
I can access it via telnet and have the password...but I want to change the password.
I find a setting called security and enter the user name and password and it takes me back to main menu.
Does this mean someone has naother password on the security section?
Or is there something I am doing wrong?

You need to log in as Superuser (only it is able to save changes).
You need to reboot (Utilities and Diagnostics - > Restart System) after you change the password.
It should be enough.
Are you sure you change a password and not are asked for a username and a password to access a protected screen?
After you enter security option, you should see a submenu.
