I need to setup RDP to a user on the LAN. I'm used to the lower-end routers and their RDP configuration; the Sonicwall has me somewhat baffled as to the procedure to enable access to a LAN PC with the RDP port of 3391. I have already set the LAN PCs RDP port to 3391.
I was able to setup server access via a wizard which auto assigns Port 3389; the wizard does not offer the option of RDP port number even if Other Connection and Terminal Services is selected.

You will need to create a Network Object for the PC you are trying to connect to. You will also need to create a service that you can call RDP3391 or whatever as long as you define it with TCP port 3391. Next you will ad a NAT rule that maps anything from the WAN port using the RDP3391 service (i.e. TCP 3391) to map to the PC Object you defined. If this TZ180 is still under support, I suggest you call Soniwall and they will give you excellent support and get this taken care of for you on the first call. If you don't have support, it may be worth adding it. They offer two levels 24/7 support or business hours support. It's not that expensive and will save you a bunch of frustration. Alternately, if you aren't using any of the enhanced services offered by Sonicwall, then you can download the standard firmware which is MUCH more intuitive and the wizard will work for you. Enhanced firmware in my opinion is only really needed if you subrscibe to the enhanced services which require the enhanced firmware.
