I have two netwroks seprated by a Layer 3 Catalyst 3750. THey are linked by a 5mb private connection over a WAN service. I can ping from one switch to the other, so I know connectivity is there.
I have a managment vlan setup on one switch that I want to use for my management vlan. All devices connected to it will be for remote management purposes. I cannot seem to access any of the devices ported on this same vlan.
So...
I have created the vlan on the switch and IP'd it 192.168.1.1
My back channel is hooked to Port 1/0/2 vlan 103
My firewall management port (IP 192.168.1.2) is hooked to port 1/0/1 vlan 103
I can ping remotely 192.168.1.1, but I cannot access or ping 192.168.1.2
THe managment port on the firewall is configured correctly to accept traffic.
What ip routes or access-list permit's do I need on the switch?
Thanks!
