Monitor - Sniffer Port on GS&$*T

I have inherited a network that  uses a Netgear GS748T Managed Switch.  I would like to set up  a Monitor Port on the switch so I can install a IDS (Intrusion Detection).  I am used to Cisco and Dell switches that allow you to send all the ports on the switch (or VLAN) to a mirror port.  The Netgear uses a http interface to manage the switch and in the section where you define the Sniffer port as Netgear calls it,  only lets you assign ports 1-24 to a port (Group 1) and ports 25-48 (Group 2) to a different sniffer port.    I was curios if anyone else has this switch and sees the same setup.  I have seen docs for the switch that shows the ability of all 48 ports being sent to one sniffer port.  Mine does not, I'm wondering if it is a firware version issue?  Start Free Trial
