InterVLAN routing on PowerConnect 6248

I am trying to achieve routing between two VLANs.

vlan2 interface address - 192.168.1.1
vlan3 interface address - 192.168.2.1

IP routing has been enabled. I assign one port to each vlan and attached a computer to each, however i could not ping the remote computer or either of the  vlan interface addresses.

What could be going wrong?

Do the computers at either end have their default gateway set to the VLAN IP address of their respective VLAN?

Fixed it, problem was that I had mark the port as Tagged on the switch for a particular VLAN (vlan2) but it didn't occur to me that I needed to give it a PVID (VLAN ID) as well. Maybe if it was untagged then that would work without me setting this.
