How about a seperate VLAN for each computer?
Main Topics
Browse All TopicsHi,
I have a managed switch linksys SRW2024, and I have 10 computers connected to this switch in the same subnet and I want that all computers can only see the IP Gateway, (Not the computers each other).
Then all the computers see the Gateway but not see the rest of computers in the same LAN and in the same subnet (Using the managed switch)
I understand that i need to use ACL, any suggestion or example?
Thanks

This platform uses a GUI interface for ACL configurations. I don't know how to give you an example using the graphical interface.
But like I stated previously, page 34 is where you'll find the instructions.

Hi lnrivera,
The SRW2024 has Private VLAN Edge (PVE) functionality which is meant for this kind of configurations.
Check the userguide mentioned by donjohnston at page 25:
"PVE When a port is a Private VLAN Edge (PVE) port, it bypasses the Forwarding Database and forwards all unicast, multicast, and broadcast traffic to an uplink."
